FLAX AND SPINNING WORKSHOP 11TH AND 12TH JULY 2024

Join us for a day of flax processing, followed by a day of flax spinning in the Cotswolds!

Located just outside Stroud with easy access for public transport; our workshops are very interactive and fun. We arrange small workshops so participants get plenty of advice and instruction and learn to work each stage of the processing to produce twine or yarn. Part of the first day and the second day is made up of preparing the flax fibre for spinning and learning how to spin on a drop spindle and a spinning wheel. All materials supplied and refreshments and any PPE supplied for the day.

Overnight accommodation is not included but there are plenty of availability in the close area. Participants are welcome to bring along their own spinning wheel if preferred - this is often a good idea to learn on your own wheel but we do have a good few to work on.
